because I think my hearing is going. If you asked me if I regret it or would have done anything differently, I’d have to give the same answer I always said I’d give from the time I was 15, ‘nope.’

I can still sort of hear and I have all those memories. I wouldn’t trade seeing all the bands I had been such a huge fan of feet in front of me for the ability to hear shit I’d rather not. Enjoy your lives, kids. Stand directly in front of amplifiers, go to diners after shows and talk with your friends through a series of yells because your hearing is so muffled it sounds like you’re sitting in a glass case wearing headphones.
